After the lunch stop at Greenville we have the remainder of the ride south along the route of the Mississippi river down to Vicksburg. Although we're following it's route , it's not really in sight very much, however it is a good ride. It's not so far as we did this morning and for our rest stop we're at the Onwards Store.

There's a couple of other Harley riders that have also stopped there. One is a guy on a Heritrage from Indiano, heading for 'whereever', the other is a couple on a dresser, on tour from Canada. It's good to meet kindred spirits.
I'm enjoying this afternoons ride, we stop for Gas, and then hey!, heres the hotel, right next to the gas station.

On arrival, we have the regular de-brief, pick up a beer from the van, and wait for our room keys.
We drop the bags off in our 3rd floor room, then head down to the lobby area where the hotel is proding free beer/wine and nibbles until 7.30
Eating options tonight are limited. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant and there's none withing walking distance. 1/2 the group take taxis to a restaurant, the other half stay at the hotel and order pizzas to be delivered in (including us).
