The tour takes us back to right where we started.

We take in a bit more of Beale St., do a bit of shopping, then make our way back to Sun Studios where we intend to catch the 4.15 courtesey bus back to the Heatbrake Hotel.

Back at HBH, we have a look in Gracelands Harley Davidson merchandise
store but aren't tempted by anything. The most interesting thing is the
Replica of Elvis' Harley that they have there.
In 2007, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Elvis' passing, Harley
Davidson produced a limited edition of 30 bikes that emulate the black
'57 Harley FLH that Elvis once owned.

Most of these bikes retailed for, in 2007, $59,000. The one in the HD shop here is one of two prototypes and is valued at over $100k.
For dinner tonight we elect to re-vcisit the Rock n Roll cafe again. We
eat a bit earlier today and are back at the hotel by 1/2 7.
Time to get the blog updated.
Tomorrow (Sat) we leave for Vicksburh Mississippi, heading south from Memphis for about 250 miles. Scheduled to leave at 8.30 prompt.

Did you take a picture of The King's replica?
ReplyDeleteWhat did you have at the Rock n Roll café? any nice shakes?
Did you go to Gracelands? Interesting, but no cameras allowed (when we went)
